Master of Arts in Teaching, Tenure-Track Assistant Professor
The Department of Graduate Education, Leadership, & Counseling in the College of Education and Human Services at Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ announces an opening for a full-time, tenure track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning September 1, 2019. We seek a dedicated professional, with a collaborative approach to join our dynamic and growing department and align with the College of Education and Human Services’ Mission of “fostering knowledgeable, committed, and reflective professionals.”
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction or a related field. Experience teaching in both K-12 and college settings is preferred. Experience in science and/or math education is also preferred.
In addition to teaching, the candidate will be involved in program development and assessment the post-baccalaureate teacher certification and Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to the mentoring and advising of students, service to the department, college and university, be active professionally, and maintain an active scholarly agenda.
