Assistant Professor & Associate Professor/Professor - Accounting

Job Announcement
The Department of Accounting and Information Systems in the College of Business Administration at The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) invites applications from qualified candidates for two tenure-track/tenured faculty positions in Accounting (one Assistant Professor and one Associate Professor or Professor faculty position). Preference will be given to those with teaching experience and interest in managerial/cost accounting and auditing (including cyber security). Salary and benefits are AACSB-competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. Responsibilities include publishing scholarly research in top academic journals, teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels, and service. Appointments are to begin September 1, 2019 and are subject to budgetary approval.

Required Qualifications
For the Assistant Professor rank, completion of a Ph.D. degree from an AACSB-accredited institution by the starting date is necessary, along with evidence of potential for publication success in top journals. Minimum qualifications for appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor include an extensive and continuing body of research published in top peer-reviewed scholarly journals. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
