Instructor of Economics

The Department of Economics at Texas Christian University invites applications for a renewable, non-tenure-track Instructor position beginning August 2019. The position carries a 4/4 teaching load and no formal research expectation but offers two potential promotions in rank (Instructor II and Senior Instructor), the possibility of multi-year contracts, and generous support for professional development including research activity. The successful candidate will regularly offer introductory classes and intermediate macroeconomics. Of particular interest are candidates able to offer upper-division field courses that complement those of the current faculty. We seek a person with a strong commitment to teaching, and the desire to join colleagues within the department and beyond in contributing to serving the university and the community. The Department of Economics values diversity, and interdisciplinary collaborations. Applicants must have completed a Ph.D. in economics by August 2019.
