Tenure-track Assistant Professor


Kinesiology & Health: Tenure-track Assistant Professor beginning Fall semester of the 2019-2020 academic year to teach courses in Kinesiology and Nutrition; maintain an active, externally-funded research agenda; advise students; and provide service to the institution.

Require: Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology, Nutritional Science, or closely related field by date of appointment.

Consideration may be given to candidates with: 1) experience teaching a variety of exercise science and/or nutrition courses at the college level including, but not limited to, Physiology of Exercise, Fitness Assessment and Exercise Prescription, Nutrition for Sport and Fitness, and Advanced Nutrition; 2) post-doctoral experience; 3) a clinically-oriented certification (e.g., ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist); and/or 4) certification as a Registered Dietitian; experience working with multicultural and/or diverse populations.
