Chief Information Officer - Lewis University - Chicago, IL

Lewis University, a comprehensive, Catholic university, has begun a national search for their next Chief Information Officer. Located 35 miles southwest of downtown Chicago, Lewis' identity and mission are rooted in the traditions of liberal learning and preparation for professional life. Lewis provides more than 80 undergraduate majors and programs of study, 35 graduate programs, and accelerated programs for working adults.

The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is responsible for the comprehensive strategic planning, leadership, coordination, and management of the University's campus-wide technology, focusing on teaching, learning, and administrative functions, and applications. The CIO will cultivate a shared vision for technology across the University, fostering ongoing collaboration with stakeholders to develop and implement a strategic plan. The CIO oversees the Information Technology Services Organization (ITSO), which encompasses key areas such as Network and Communication Services, Academic and Administrative Computing Support Service Center, and Planning, Data, and ERP Operations.

The ideal candidate will have significant senior IT leadership experience in a higher education setting, excellent communication skills, and a strategic mindset. A Master's degree in Information Technology or another related field is required.
