As the assistant director of enrollment, you will foster relationships with prospective students and parents by initiating communication and attending educational or professional events. You will identify and work with high schools, colleges/universities, and educational organizations, to plan visits andexecute information sessions. As the assistant director, you will provide individual attention to prospective students to answer questions and encourage the submission of portfolios and resumes. You will prepare electronic material submission for scholarship and admission review, prepare academic documentation for transfer evaluation, and will follow up with students who do not enroll.The assistant director acts as on-campus support for signature and special events as needed.
In this position you will serve as the primary financial aid contact. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records in Banner/Salesforce, managing current applicant files, and staying up to date on college policies. Maintaining daily telephone appointments using Appointment Plus is required. Among other duties, the director will follow up with prospective students.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate leadership skills through mentoring new staff members and providing new ideas and helpful feedback to staff regularly. They must be comfortable delivering engaging and creative presentations. Becoming an expert in educational systems and trends within your assigned territory is imperative as you will occasionally travel to your markets for recruitment opportunities.

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degreewith experience in admissions, recruitment, or related field
- Exceptional communication, attention to detail, multitasking, organization, customer relations, and time management skills with web knowledge
- Must be a strong public speaker
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently with a proficiency in using computer databases and office productivity software
- A customer service mindset and passion for helping students achieve their educational goals
