The University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors extends an exclusive invitation for dynamic leaders to apply or nominate exceptional candidates for the prestigious role of President at Grambling State University, with the anticipated start date in 2024.

Grambling, with its rich history dating back to 1901, stands as an SREB Four-Year 4 institution, a Carnegie Master’s College and University (medium programs), and a SACSCOC Level V institution. Offering a diverse array of undergraduate and graduate programs spanning arts, humanities, sciences, business, computer science, criminal justice, education, mass communication, nursing, social work, and technology, Grambling State University caters to approximately 5,100 students across 46 undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Nestled in the heart of Grambling, Louisiana, this 590-acre campus provides a vibrant learning environment.

The Board and University are in search of an innovative President, poised to be a visionary and entrepreneurial leader with a track record of academic and senior administrative achievements. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in academic leadership and development; an unwavering commitment to fundraising, economic development, and fostering strong community relations; all while prioritizing a student-centered approach. Additionally, he or she will empower others through transparent communication, collaborative management, and a commitment to shared governance.

Candidates with high-level executive experience and a proven record of exceptional performance are encouraged to apply. While an earned doctorate with a background in higher education administration is preferred, administrative experience in other disciplines will also be considered.
