As the production coordinator, you will be responsible for all administrative tasks associated with booking and securing performances at various venues. This position is essential to aid in all administrative actions, financial recording, scheduling, and correspondence tasks that come along with the booking and performance calendar. You will facilitate communication and correspondence between internal teams, implement choreography and blocking, act as an ambassador at events, and create staging for rehearsals and performances.
The ensemble production coordinator will create rehearsal schedules for accompanists, coordinate with sound rental companies for performances, scout venues, and manage relationships. In this position you will assist in booking travel accommodations, managing rehearsals, and arranging events. When senior staff is not present, you will act in their place, including acting as the main point of contact.

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or at least three years of professional experience
- Strong knowledge of performers’ needs, stage management, producing, and administrative tasks with ability to pivot
- High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills, proactive problem solving, and ability to work independently and within a team framework
- Previous experience related to confidentiality matters
- Proven experience managing multiple high priority tasks and strong customer relations skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous knowledge of SCAD, its degree programs, and its mission
Travel required:
- 20% to 40%
