Assistant Professor - Two positions available

Applications are invited for two tenure-track faculty positions at the level of Assistant Professor in the Department of Development and Cell Biology. The first position is in the area of genome regulatory mechanisms (GRM), broadly defined. Of particular interest are applicants who carry out experimental research in areas such as (but not limited to) genome function, regulation of gene expression and systems genetics. The second position is in the area of stem cell or regenerative biology SCRB). We broadly seek candidates interested in stem cell and/or niche biology, regeneration, cancer stem cells, and related areas.  Priority will be given to candidates whose research will benefit from interdisciplinary collaborations, interactions with members of the department ( and from affiliation with campus centers and institutes.

If the candidate does not include the signed authorization to release information with the application materials, the application will be considered incomplete. As with any incomplete application, the application will not receive further consideration. Although all applicants for faculty recruitments must complete the entire application, only finalists (i.e., those to whom the department or other hiring unit would like to extend a formal offer) considered for Ladder Rank Professor or Professor of Teaching series, at all ranks (i.e., assistant, associate, and full) positions will be subject to institutional reference checks.
