Educational Psychology:  Tenure-track Assistant Professor beginning Fall semester of the 2019-2020 academic year to teach in School Psychology; maintain an active research agenda; advise students; and provide service to the institution.

Require: doctorate in School Psychology or closely related field by date of appointment; eligible for School Psychologist certification from the Ohio Department of Education.

Consideration may be given to candidates with expertise with a multi-tiered model of service delivery (academic & behavioral-mental health intervention) in the school setting; three or more years of practice in the field as a school psychologist; doctorate from an APA and/or NASP approved doctoral training program in School Psychology; skills to incorporate technology in teaching; work with culturally and/or linguistically diverse learners; evidence of leadership or supervision skills; prior teaching experience at the college level; ability to teach courses in the related disciplines of Educational Psychology and Special Education; or evidence of strong potential for effective research and teaching.

This position has the potential to be part of a cluster or cohort hire of faculty in The College of Education, Health and Society for successful diverse candidates whose critical research, teaching and/or service connects to a theme of promoting Socially Just Communities (e.g., participatory community research, mutually beneficial university-community partnerships including community engagement, service learning, and collaborations with clinical/practice courses/training) consistent with our Initiative for Community Justice and Wellbeing.
