Lecturer – Legal Studies

The Rider University Department of Marketing, Sport Management and Legal Studies is seeking candidates for a non-tenure track appointment in legal studies, to begin in September 2019.  This is a full time appointment renewable for up to six years. The successful candidate will demonstrate teaching and/or practical experience in the legal field and possess a J.D. from an accredited law school.  Candidates must be prepared to teach The Legal and Ethical Environment of Business and upper level courses in one of the following areas: International Law, Commercial Law, and Health Law.  The department seeks an individual who is distinguished in his/her field and has a strong commitment to effective teaching.  Candidates with a demonstrated commitment supportive of the multicultural needs of Rider University and the surrounding community are highly desired.

The CBA enrolls approximately 1,300 undergraduates and 300 MBA students.  The Marketing, Sport Management and Legal Studies Department offers majors in marketing, business administration and sport management, and includes three full-time faculty members teaching legal studies.
