The Department of Philosophy and the Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology program at Washington University in St. Louis invites applications for a tenure-track faculty appointment in Philosophy including affiliation with the PNP Program at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin in the fall semester of 2024.  Our commitment to diversity and inclusivity is deeply embedded in our faculty search process, and we are actively seeking candidates who would bring an array of life experiences and perspectives to their work at WashU. Each year Washington University publishes a Safety and Security brochure that details what to do and whom to contact in an emergency. This report also publishes the federally required annual security and fire safety reports, containing campus crime and fire statistics as well as key university policies and procedures. A Ph.D. in Philosophy or a closely related field is required at the time of appointment. Duties will include teaching assigned courses, conducting research, writing for publication, advising students, participating in department governance, and university service.
