Associate Director, Undergraduate Prestigious Fellowships and Honors Advising

The Associate Director (AD) oversees all external fellowship and scholarship initiatives for the College, helps to promote and support NJIT undergraduates applying for such opportunities including, but not limited to the Boren, Gilman, Fulbright, STEM and research-based awards. AD also serves as the primary Honors advisor for third and fourth year Honors scholars and all scholars who are enrolled in an accelerated program (medical, law, etc.) The AD will work with the Dean to develop and execute outreach programs for NJIT undergraduates around scholarship opportunities, plan the annual cycle of information meetings, develop targeted workshops relevant to student development, collaborate with partner offices and faculty as necessary in order to identify candidates for competitions, and work closely with applicants to develop their application effectively. Additionally, the AD will assist in tracking and assessment efforts, recruitment and help to build a successful communication strategy utilizing an effective web presence, social media and others forms of digital outreach. The Associate Director reports to the Dean of the Albert Dorman Honors College
