As a SCADamp visualization coach, you will create, promote, and deliver a variety of workshops, trainings, and professional development opportunities to support the SCAD community. With an emphasis on visual communication, you will offer out-of-class workshops, provide one-on-one and small-group coaching sessions, and develop presentation and workshop materials that supplement SCADamp offerings. All SCADamp coaches also provide professional presentation coaching to faculty, staff, and university leaders and support the university community through a variety of training and professional development programs.
In addition to being a spectacular visual communicator, you will serve as a collaborative member of a dynamic team and contribute to the achievement of the SCAD mission with a student-centered focus. This team uses their verbal, visual, and interpersonal communication and coaching expertise to strengthen and expand SCADamp's reach across the university community. You will work both independently and as part of the team in a professional environment. You will also conduct surveys to measure students’ improvement, keep up with research related to presentation and communication, maintain records of all SCADamp activities, collaborate across all department and locations, and serve as an ambassador for the program.

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Excellent visual communication and presentation skills
- Project management experience
- Excellent organizational skills, work ethic, and attention to detail
- Ability to independently prioritize and manage projects efficiently
- Outstanding interpersonal communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in an innovative, fast-paced environment
- Possesses a design mindset in adapting to new direction and initiatives
- Ability to cultivate positive working relationships with internal and external constituents
- Advanced experience using Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects) as well as presentation-specific software, including PowerPoint, Keynote, and Prezi
- Dedication to personal and professional integrity
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in graphic design, visual communication, motion graphics, or a related field
- Significant presentation coaching, acting, or performance experience
