Scripps College, a women’s liberal arts college with a strong interdisciplinary tradition, invites applications for a lecturer of English with a specialization in contemporary and/or twentieth-century fiction to teach two classes in Spring 2024. Candidates who can teach classes in African American fiction, Asian American fiction, Native American and Indigenous Fiction, or postcolonial fiction are especially encouraged to apply. PhD by start date is preferred but ABD candidates will be considered.

The salary for this position will range from $16,200 to $18,000 and will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.
