Job Description Summary
The Associate Director of Digital Strategies is a key member of the Digital Strategies Team within the newly combined Center for Teaching and Learning and the Online Learning Initiative and reports to the Director of Digital Strategies. The Digital Strategies Team is responsible for online technology infrastructure and experimentation, business and compliance processes, and consultative support for online learning offerings across Penn's diverse set of schools. This Associate Director will utilize skills and knowledge in the areas of project management, data management and report creation, internal grant program management, and experience supporting the development of new initiatives to support existing and emerging online offerings across Penn's twelve schools. The role will also leverage and streamline processes and data management to support and champion online and innovative learning across Penn's twelve schools. In addition, this position will help nurture and sustain opportunities for growth and innovation through pilot programs in collaboration with the Digital Strategies and Instructional Design & Technology teams and will support the development of resources, tools, and connections, to build online strategies for new program development at Penn schools. This position will also provide high-level management and reporting for Penn's MOOC portfolio.

Job Responsibilities
- Support emerging online initiatives across Penn's Schools by assisting the Director of Digital Strategies with improving new program development processes aligned with compliance and University requirements.
- Manage Penn's MOOC offerings and engagement and enrollment data. Keep Penn's MOOC community up to date on new platform product rollouts and initiatives.
- Working with Center leadership, assist with the management and creation of working groups on new educational technology pilots.
- Create and manage online impact reports.
- Support current internal grant program for new and innovative online programming and experimentation.
- Work with Salesforce Administrator and Business Analyst to leverage Salesforce to streamline reporting and processes.
- Keep up to date on trends and innovations in the higher education and educational technology sectors.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to thrive in a flexible, decentralized environment
- Project management expertise
- Data management experience
- Familiarity with educational technology and online learning
- Ability to dedicate close attention to detail while also ensuring alignment with overall goals
Preferred Skills:
- Master's degree in a related field
- Experience using Salesforce for data or customer tracking
- Experience with grant management
