Description
The Department of Anthropology, Washington University in St. Louis, invites applications for a tenure-track appointment in anthropology at the level of Assistant Professor to begin in the Fall semester of 2024. We seek an active researcher working domestically or internationally to complement a department with a record of excellence in medical anthropology, global health, and related areas. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellence in research and teaching, a commitment to ethnography, how their active research program engages questions of contemporary importance and has real-world implications, and the ability to obtain external research funding. Duties will include teaching courses, conducting research, writing for publication, advising students, participating in department governance, and university service.
