Assistant Dean for Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity in Agriculture (IDEA)

Colorado State University invites applications and encourages nominations for the Assistant Dean for Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity in Agriculture (IDEA) in the College of Agricultural Sciences (CAS). The Assistant Dean will champion the College’s “Come to the Table” initiatives and pursue excellence for cultivating a diverse community that co-creates knowledge to address key agricultural challenges in a college of 136 faculty, 339 staff, and over 1,950 undergraduate and graduate students. This 12-month appointment will involve decision-making regarding diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategies, programming, and events for CAS, as well as overseeing and directing the College’s DEI budget. The successful candidate is expected to synergize with the CAS leadership to enhance, develop, coordinate, and integrate the college’s DEI initiatives and program. The full consideration deadline is 11:59 p.m. on July 2, 2023.
