The associate producer/director will curate engaging programming for SCADFILM events while conducting research and pre-interviews for potential topics and guests. In this position, you will be responsible for pitching potential projects, managing and scheduling event logistics, and for acting as a liaison with publicity and legal departments for all matters. The associate producer/director will be a liaison with faculty and staff, providing administrative support for events and special projects. Additionally, you will monitor the Georgia entertainment industry, attend networking events, coordinate outreach at SCAD Atlanta, manage event transportation, and represent SCADFILM at public events.

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline
- 5+ years relevant experience in event and or film/TV production
- Excellent comprehension and execution of technical skills related to virtual production tools
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to interface with high-profile individuals while maintain confidentiality
- Ability to handle demanding requests
- Flexibility to accommodate last-minute schedule changes
- Ability to travel with limited notice as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in organizational tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Air Table, Jot Form, FileMaker Pro, Slack, and Adobe Suite programs
