The admission representative will report directly to the assistant director of visitation and is primarily responsible for identifying and recruiting the highest quality students for all campuses and all market segments. The person in this position must have the ability to build good relationships and create networking opportunities with teachers, counselors, students, parents, and alumni that will benefit the college through prospect outreach via various media. Maintaining timely, individualized, pro-active communication with prospective students to provide information regarding campus visits and to discuss their interests is crucial. The admission representative will maximize outreach efforts by meeting with prospective students through college tours, SCAD Days, the summer program, and special events as needed.
This position requires taking an active role in admission training by staying up to date with college policies, developing a strong partnership with admission advisers, and involving them in recruitment activities. The admission representative will provide feedback and ideas to admission leadership on a regular basis and occasionally travel to represent the college at recruitment events. Additional duties may be assigned at any time.

Work Hours:The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Excellent communication skills
- Advanced customer relations skills
- Must be able to participate in evening and weekend work
- Must be able to travel as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- SCAD experience preferred
- Admission and tour experience
- Marketing experience highly beneficial
- Public speaking experience preferred
- SCAD experience preferred
