In this high-level support position, you will use your advanced project- and people-management skills to lead the department’s administrative assistants within your assigned school on academic projects and university initiatives. You will collaborate with all units of the university (e.g., admission, student success, registrar, career and alumni success, SCADpro) and provide exceptional administrative support to your assigned areas, including travel and schedule management, screening and answering communications, greeting and directing visitors, staying current with SCAD accolades and achievements, and more. You will also support the dean with networking efforts, coordinate with creative direction on projects that promote the department and school, and work to ensure that all physical spaces within your assigned school both showcase the best student work and are ready to host guests and prospective students at any moment.
The successful candidate is professional in both appearance and demeanor, and can expertly handle projects that require confidentiality, accuracy, punctuality, responsiveness, and agility. The candidate is proactive, highly detailed and organized, and can successfully take on tasks with multiple competing deadlines. The ability to work independently and collaboratively is a must, as are stellar interpersonal written and verbal communication skills. A commitment to discipline, honesty, and integrity is essential.
Minimum Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications: Proficient with Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, and InDesign
Work Hours:The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
- Two to three years of related professional experience as executive-level personnel
- Advanced project- and people-management skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products (i.e., Word and Excel) and Banner or similar database
