The University of Dayton , a top-tier Catholic university with a strategic commitment to multi-dimensional diversity and inclusive excellence, seeks a strategic and experienced leader to serve as its Assistant Vice President, Student Academic Records and Strategic Pathways .

The Assistant Vice President (AVP) will report directly to Dr. Jason Reinoehl, Vice President for Strategic Enrollment Management, with dotted-line reporting to the Associate Provost for Academic Affairs and Learning Initiatives. The AVP will provide leadership and vision for the Registrar's Office and will be a forward-thinking and student-centered strategic leader in the division of Strategic Enrollment Management as well as across the institution. The AVP will also play a crucial role in managing and developing strategic pathways through the development and maintenance of articulation processes with high school and community college partners, helping to fuel the success of students who seek a variety of degree pathways and who bring a wealth of prior learning to the university community.

The new AVP will contribute to the continuous evolution of the Registrar's Office, and the institution by envisioning, building, and executing strategic, systematic, and coordinated functions that support the ever-evolving needs of the greater university community. As a visible institutional leader, the AVP's influence will reach students, faculty, staff, and senior leaders. At least 7 years of progressive experience as a leader, including leadership of registrar-related functions and 5+ years of management and leadership experience is required. A bachelor's degree is required; a master's degree is preferred.

The University of Dayton comprises six academic units: the College of Arts and Sciences and the Schools of Business Administration, Education and Health Sciences, Law, Engineering, and University Libraries. More than 82 academic programs are available at the undergraduate level. With over 35 centers and institutes, including the nationally recognized University of Dayton Research Institute (UDRI), UD provides faculty, students, and staff with outstanding opportunities for research, experiential learning, and community engagement. With an overall enrollment of over 11,700 students, including approximately 8,400 undergraduate and 3,300 graduate and law students, UD encourages students to engage the world, developing critical minds and compassionate hearts.
