VISITING ASSISTANT PROFESSOR POSITIONS IN NEUROBIOLOGY

The Neuroscience Program of Pitzer, and Scripps Colleges, two of the five undergraduate Claremont Colleges in Southern California, seeks to hire a visiting assistant professor for the 2023-24 academic year, beginning August 2023.  This position is a full-time one-year appointment with the potential for renewal. Teaching responsibilities include an introductory neuroscience class, a cell and molecular neuroscience class with an associated laboratory, and vertebrate physiology with lab. Participation in research, particularly directing undergraduate research projects may be possible.  A Ph.D. is required, and prior teaching experience is preferred.

The salary for this position will range from $72,000 to $84,000 and will be set based on a variety of  factors, including but not limited to internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.
