EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT & PROVOST SEARCH

St. Catherine University seeks a proven academic leader for the position of Executive Vice President and Provost. As chief academic officer, the Provost is administratively responsible for academic and student affairs and serves as a key member of the University's senior leadership team led by President ReBecca (Becky) Roloff. The new Executive Vice President and Provost will assume office as soon as possible and no later than January 1, 2019.

St. Kate's, as the University is popularly known, is dedicated to providing a quality education that combines liberal arts with career and professional opportunities. It is a nationally recognized comprehensive Catholic university with one of the nation's largest Catholic women's colleges at its core. The University enrolls more than 4,700 students (approximately 4000 FTE) and has 292 full-time faculty. St. Kate's offers associate, baccalaureate, and graduate degrees. The University has two undergraduate colleges, the College for Women and the College for Adults; and a Graduate College. Spanning degree levels are the University's four schools - Humanities, Arts and Sciences; Business and Professional Studies; the Henrietta Schmoll School of Health; and Social Work. In addition to Academic Affairs, the Provost supervises the chief student affairs administrator who has direct responsibility for the Division of Student Affairs.

St. Kate's offers an exceptional and rewarding leadership opportunity for its next chief academic officer. The Provost will lead the faculty as well as the curricular and co-curricular support units in developing and implementing strategic initiatives involving undergraduate and graduate education. The incumbent must be a person of entrepreneurial spirit and innovative style. The successful candidate must have a doctoral degree and be a dynamic and creative administrator with a record of administrative effectiveness at the dean level or above.
