The Division of Renal-Electrolyte and Hypertension in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of evaluating and managing pre and post-kidney transplant patients. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Applicants should be board certified in Nephrology.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching Penn medical students, residents and fellows. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high quality teaching. Applicants should be outstanding educators who excel at teaching.

Clinical responsibilities may include providing clinical care for patients in the inpatient and outpatient clinics at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Applicants must have additional training and expertise in transplant nephrology.
