Drexel University invites nominations and applications for the position of Dean, College of Nursing and Health Professions.

Drexel University's College of Nursing and Health Professions (CNHP) offers more than 50 undergraduate and/or graduate programs in Nursing; Health Sciences; Behavioral Health Counseling; Couple and Family Therapy; Creative Arts Therapies; Food and Hospitality Management; Health Administration; Nutrition Sciences; Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences; and Physician Assistant. The Ph.D. degree is offered in Couple and Family Therapy, Creative Arts Therapies, Nursing, Nutrition Sciences and Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. The College also offers seven practice doctorates. The CNHP has over 4,800 students, 169 full-time faculty and 154 staff.

Reporting to the Provost, the Dean of the CNHP will provide academic and administrative leadership to advance the College's mission in education, service and research. The Dean will also have the exciting opportunity to oversee the integration of all of the College's programs - along with the College of Medicine - in Drexel's brand-new Health Sciences Building.

Candidates must possess a Ph.D. degree or equivalent with a background in nursing and/or a health profession consistent with the academic makeup of the CNHP and have experience and record compatible with appointment as full professor with tenure at Drexel University. Candidates should have exceptional communication skills, a high degree of professionalism, considerable financial acumen and a clear understanding of what it takes to help grow market share and advance all academic programs in a competitive higher education environment.
