Senior Media Producer

As senior media producer, you will be responsible for interviewing subjects, directing, producing, researching, writing, and editing videos for screen and web, social media, live events, paid advertising, and marketing initiatives as defined by the motion media director and senior director of visual media. You will oversee each project from conception to completion while working fastidiously with communications managers, production managers, videographers, editors, and graphic designers to create video content representing all of SCAD's degree programs, alumni programs, and events.

The ideal candidate possesses stellar interpersonal skills, as interviewing high profile artists, new and graduating students, and staff or faculty members constitutes a large portion of the job. Must be available to travel domestically and internationally on short notice.

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Relevant experience (communications and media studies; photography/film/television; information technology/multimedia; broadcasting)

Preferred qualifications:
  • Knowledge of videography, audio, and editing

Certificates, licenses, and registrations:
  • Valid driver's license
  • Passport

Travel required: 10-20%

Work hours:The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. In order to accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
