SCAD seeks a full-time financial analyst to join its financial planning and analysis team in historic Savannah, Ga.
In this role, you will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, variance reporting, and strategic reporting in support of the SCAD mission, vision, and values. Reporting to the director of finance, you will develop and maintain an accurate forecast of each category of capital expenditures (e.g., physical resources, information management and technology, academics) relative to budget parameters, as well as forecasts for each revenue source for SCAD using all known variables. You will prepare operating expense budgets across the university, clearly articulate the financial position of each department to SCAD leadership, and lead annual budget meetings with key stakeholders.
As a financial analyst, you will identify and understand financial trends through monthly reporting to stakeholders, develop and maintain a five-year financial forecasting model, prepare ad reporting as requested, and provide financial analysis for major contracts renewal, as well as assist in the final review and negotiation of these contracts. Among other duties, you will also prepare annual budget and budget presentations in concert with functional owners and present to the budget committee, and successfully build positive and collaborative relationships with functional owners and leadership across the university.
Minimum Qualifications:
Work Hours:The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. In order to accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other work days and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related major
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting setting highly preferred
