Assistant Director of Admission, North Georgia

As the assistant director of admission, you will identify and recruit high caliber students for SCAD while nurturing a positive opinion of the university. In this position you will plan and coordinate travel as needed to represent the college at events. In doing so, you will foster relationships and build a network consisting of teachers, counselors, students, parents, and alumni. You will be responsible for following up with prospective students via phone or email to discuss individual interests and to answer any questions, providing admission information and needed supporting documents.

The ideal candidate can deliver engaging and creative presentations, displays strong organizational skills through planning and coordinating travel, works effectively both individually and with others, and can travel extensively.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills

Certificates, licenses, and registrations:Valid driver's license

Travel required: Over 50%

Work Hours:The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
