Director of Social Media, Executive Media

As the director of social media for executive media you will brainstorm, track, and execute cross-channel social media content calendars and content/analytics databases. Presenting new strategies and concepts to produce content with creativity, timeliness, and stellar attention to detail is crucial to this job. The director must be highly responsive to community management and ensuring engagement and is responsible for preparing cross-channel reports to ensure performance meets expectations. In this role you will serve as a subject-matter expert in social media, keeping the team informed about platform developments, trends, and growth opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree and five to seven years of experience
  • Strong interest and relevant experience in social media production/strategy including content design and platforms
  • Must always exhibit professionalism in appearance and demeanor
  • Must be highly organized and pay close attention to detail
  • Familiarity with social media terminology and best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Photoshop and After Effects

Certificates, licenses, and registrations:
  • Valid driver’s license

Travel Required: Over 50%

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
