Assistant Professor of Forestry: Human dimensions of forestry, Northern Arizona University

The School of Forestry at Northern Arizona University invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Forestry. This is a 9-month, tenure-track appointment.  We seek an applicant with focused expertise in human dimensions of forestry, including collaborative resource management, community forestry, science communication, science-policy interface, and science coproduction, whose interests will support, build, and complement the School of Forestry’s and NAU’s programs in these and related areas. The successful applicant will be expected to teach courses in support of our undergraduate and graduate forestry programs, develop a productive, externally-funded research program, advise graduate students (MF, MS, and PhD), and serve the School of Forestry, Northern Arizona University, and the profession. Review of applications will begin on September 1, 2018. The anticipated start date for this position is August 19, 2019.
