DESCRIPTION: The NAU School of Music seeks a dynamic, creative, collaborative, and dedicated teacher of class piano and piano pedagogy. Responsibilities would include teaching class piano, keyboard harmony, piano pedagogy; coordinating
the piano pedagogy/class piano area; and other teaching or performing assignments in the candidate’s field of

 Master’s degree in piano pedagogy or related field
 Two years' experience teaching piano pedagogy or class piano
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Assistant Teaching Professor
 Doctorate in piano pedagogy or related field
 Two years' experience teaching piano pedagogy or class piano
 Doctorate in piano pedagogy or related field.
 Experience teaching at the university level.
 Experience teaching applied piano.
 Experience performing solo or collaborative piano at a professional level.
 Commitment to working effectively with NAU’s diverse faculty, staff, and student populations.

Northern Arizona University requires satisfactory results for the following: a criminal background investigation, an

SALARY: Commensurate with academic qualifications and relevant experience.
