Associate Dean of Libraries

OSU Libraries and Press is recruiting for an Associate Dean of Libraries (ADL). The ADL brings expertise and experience with library management and works closely with the Dean of Libraries to shape a sustainable long-term vision for library services at Oregon State University, an R1 and Land, Sea, Space, and Sun Grant institution. The ADL is a member of the Library Administration department and supervises the five heads of the departments responsible for core library functions: collections, public services, technology, research and learning, and special collections and archives. The ADL is also a key member of the Library Administration, Management and Planning group (LAMP) - department heads and directors, library administrators, and representatives from the Library Faculty Association (LFA) and Classified Staff Association (CSA) - who discuss and act on broad organizational issues. The ADL helps create a healthy and sustainable work environment for library workers, fosters communication between library units, and engages in reflective and transparent decision-making.

In alignment with OSULP’s priority to strengthen equity, diversity, and inclusion we encourage individuals from underrepresented or marginalized identities to apply. For full position and application details, please visit https://jobs.oregonstate.edu/postings/132487.
