TREASURER AND VICE PRESIDENT

 

The College of New Jersey (TCNJ), one of the nation’s preeminent public institutions, invites applications and nominations for the position of Treasurer and Vice President.

 

Founded in 1855 as the New Jersey State Normal School, TCNJ is a primarily undergraduate and residential college, with targeted graduate programs, and an overall enrollment of approximately 7,600 students. Grounded in the liberal arts, TCNJ’s personalized, collaborative, and rigorous education engages students at the highest level within and beyond the classroom. TCNJ’s picturesque Georgian colonial campus is located on 289 tree-lined acres in suburban Ewing, New Jersey. The Office of the Treasurer interacts with every department, employee, and student on campus. The Treasurer and Vice President reports to the President and is a valued member of the President’s Cabinet. The Treasurer and Vice President, in collaboration with the trustees, President, and cabinet, oversees an annual operating budget of $240 million and is responsible for the supervision of the college’s budget and fiscal planning, procurement and accounts payable, student accounts, and payroll operations.
