The English Department at the University of South Florida seeks to hire multiple 9-month, full-time, non-tenure earning visiting instructors to start August 7, 2018. Teaching load 4/4 and renewable for up to 3 years. Teaching responsibilities will primarily be in Professional and Technical Communication, Introduction to Literature, and First Year Composition. Courses are capped at 19 students.
Master of Arts by start date, minimum three years experience teaching writing at the post-secondary
PhD or related terminal degree by start date, minimum three years experience teaching writing at the post-secondary level. An academic or professional background in Professional and Technical Communication, or experience in digital pedagogy, or interest in developing skills in digital humanities.
