WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY IN ST. LOUIS, Department of English, Endowed Professorship. The Department of English at Washington University in St. Louis invites applications for the Lynne Cooper Harvey Chair. We are looking for a full Professor in modern and contemporary global literatures in English, including American literatures in a transnational and/or hemispheric context. A Ph.D. in English or a closely related field is required. The position would begin in the fall semester of 2019. Duties include teaching, conducting research, writing for publication, advising students, participating in departmental governance and university service.
