The University of Wisconsin-Madison (UW-Madison), the state's public flagship institution of higher learning, seeks a key leader to serve as senior associate director for admissions in the Office of Admissions and Recruitment in the Division of Enrollment Management. Reporting to the director of the Office of Admissions and Recruitment, the senior associate director for admissions provides critical strategic leadership for the application review process, including more than 65,000 domestic and international first-year and transfer applications, annually. They lead a team of 25 highly skilled admissions professionals through four assistant director reporting lines, plus approximately 45 part-time remote readers. Guided by the vision of the director, this position is responsible for long-term planning for the Admissions unit, working collaboratively within their unit, as well as across the office, the enrollment division, and campus to develop and implement sustainable and efficient systems and processes. They are among a team of four senior associate directors in the office and one of several new positions that were developed as a result of an organizational assessment.
