SUNY Plattsburgh invites inquiries, nominations, and applications for the Vice President for Enrollment and Student Success (VPESS). The anticipated start date for this position is July 1, 2023.

Reporting to the President, the VPESS will lead an enthusiastic team in a divisional structure that has been designed to embrace a holistic approach to student enrollment. In leading a division that offers wraparound services throughout the student lifecycle, encompassing both student recruitment and retention, the VPESS will create a collaborative culture of student success throughout the division and across the university.

The successful candidate will be an experienced campus leader with a deep understanding of student recruitment and retention who brings an open, accessible, and available leadership style to the division, and who takes a collaborative approach to working with colleagues across campus. Serving as a member of the President's Cabinet, the VPESS will join an established team of senior leaders who partner closely to advance the university's mission and vision. A key task for the incoming VPESS will be to develop and advance a strategic vision for the Division of Enrollment and Student Success while also strengthening collaborations across campus.
