Assistant Director of Enrollment

As a full-time assistant director of enrollment, you will build strong relationships and networks with teachers, prospective students and their parents, and alumni across the northeastern and midwestern U.S. (i.e., Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Maryland, Delaware, and more) through captivating presentations, individualized attention, and occasional in-person meetings. You will encourage prospective students to visit SCAD locations, meet with these students and their families during visits, and follow-up with prospective students regularly via phone, email, and in-person visits.

As an advocate for students, you will encourage the submission of portfolios for submission for SCAD scholarships, acceptance, and evaluation; provide counsel on the admission process, academics, scholarships, and financial questions; and prepare prospective students’ applicant files for presentation to the admission review committee. Among other responsibilities, you will participate in call-a-thons and Live Agent sessions as well as SCAD Days and Focus Days for prospective students and parents, counselors, and teachers. You will also serve as Saturday admission coverage four to five times a year and travel to off-site events.

The successful candidate is an outstanding written and verbal communicator with exceptional presentation skills. Organized and highly detailed, the candidate is strategic in accomplishing goals. Knowledge of the web and web-based software is essential.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
  • Ability to work outside office hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Salesforce, Banner, Calendly, and Application Xtender

Certificates, licenses, and registrations: Valid driver's license

Work Hours:The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
