Edgewood College is seeking candidates for its next Vice President for Student Development (VPSD). The successful candidate will be an innovative, inclusive, and visionary leader who will bring a deep understanding of the changes in student demographics occurring in higher education, best practices in student engagement, and support and co-curricular experiences, to lead in the crafting and implementation of a highly inclusive student development approach for all students (undergraduate, graduate, online) in collaboration with academic affairs, student development personnel, and college leaders. Reporting directly to the President and serving as a member of the President's Cabinet, the VPSD will be an active participant in advancing the College's Dominican mission of serving a community of learners who seek a world of justice and compassion.

The selected candidate will join the Edgewood College community at an exciting time of change, opportunity, and challenge occurring across higher education. The Vice President for Student Development (VPSD)'s leadership offers a unique opportunity to shape strategy and have a meaningful impact on both the student experience and critical college outcomes.


• An advanced degree (masters required, with terminal degree in higher education or related field preferred);

• Minimum of 3 years at a Director or comparable level, including supervisory experience;

• Understanding, appreciation, and enthusiasm for the College's Dominican Catholic identity and core values - truth, compassion, justice, partnership, and community;

• Demonstrated leadership with diverse populations and multicultural competency. Preference given to leadership experience in creating an inclusive learning, living, and work environment
