The University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for an Assistant Director, Clubs and Organizations in the Associated Students of the University Nevada (ASUN) Center for Student Engagement (CSE). The position is responsible for supervision, risk management and advisement of campus-wide events/programs sponsored by ASUN and works closely with campus offices in managing all club sports. The Assistant Director chairs the Student Events Advisory ​Board assigns security or police as ​necessary and manages all risk and liability issues associated with all student-sponsored events including club sports. The incumbent serves as the liaison with campus administration, the City of Reno, and other constituencies to ensure legality, compliance, and safety at events including negotiation between student clubs and other organizations to support positive relationships and liability prevention. The position develops and implements student leadership programs, strategic plans, and research assessment of all clubs, programming efforts and resources within a civic learning and democratic engagement framework.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and three years of relevant work experience OR Master’s Degree and two years of relevant work experience in advising and working with college students.
