Testing Assistant

The Testing Assistant is part of the Testing Center Team withing the University Center for Teaching and Learning. The principal duty of this position is to manage the process of scanning and scoring classroom examinations delivered to the Testing Center by faculty and/or equivalentclassroom administrators. In addition, this position assists with daily business activities within the Testing Center, must must be a highly organized, detail oriented, flexible individual that administers examinations to University students and non-University testers, with strict adherence to academic integrity testing regulations .Position will communicate with University staff, faculty, students, and non-University personnel daily through multiple communication mediums. Problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills required. Ensures exam delivery to multiple unique testing populations and assists with the following: administration of computer-based and paper/pencil examinations of all varieties; processing of classroom examinations through scanning and scoring applications; and additional duties as assigned/needed. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills required.

Associate degree with one to two years of experience required. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted per university guidelines. Some experience in an office or educational environment is preferred. Professional licenses to administer certain exams can be attained during employment.
