As a full-time ensemble manager, you will coordinate all bookings, scheduling, rehearsals, and travel for the HoneyBees, the Bee Sharps, and Performance Ensemble vocal groups for both high-profile professional bookings with agents and venues as well as the many SCAD signature events at the university's on-ground locations. You will serve as an ambassador for SCAD and will manage the HoneyBees, the university's Atlanta-based alumni vocal ensemble. For the HoneyBees, you will regularly implement and maintain the staging and choreography conceived by the senior ensemble director.

The successful candidate should demonstrate exceptional artistic sensibilities and managerial skills and should uphold the high-performance standard of SCAD's elite vocal ensembles. Detailed and highly organized, the candidate thrives as both an independent and team-based contributor and has proven success managing multiple high-priority tasks. The ability to work well under pressure, as well as strong problem-solving and customer relations skills, is essential.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a closely related discipline
  • Minimum of three years of professional experience in a relevant field
  • Experience working with confidentiality matters
  • Ability to work outside office hours, included evenings and weekends, as needed

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Thorough understanding of the SCAD brand
  • Experience with social media, calendar, staff, and budget management

Certificates, licenses, and registrations: Valid driver license

Work Hours:The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
