Associate Director of Admission

As the associate director of admission, you will identify and recruit students of the highest caliber for SCAD while nurturing a positive opinion of the university. You will foster relationships and build a network consisting of teachers, counselors, students, parents, and alumni. In this position you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records in Salesforce, managing current applicant files, and staying up to date on college policies. Among other duties, the associate director of admission will follow up with prospective students via phone or email to discuss individual interests and to answer any questions, providing admission information and needed supporting documents.

The associate director of admission must demonstrate leadership skills through mentoring new staff members and providing new ideas and helpful feedback to admission leadership regularly. You will also ensure use of SCAD alumni and parent ambassadors in recruitment. During all orientation sessions the associate director of admissions is responsible for handling staffing needs.

The ideal candidate can deliver engaging and creative presentations, displays strong organizational skills through planning and coordinating travel, works effectively both individually and with others, and can travel extensively.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree

Certificates, licenses and registrations:Valid driver's license

Work Hours:The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. In order to accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
