Professor of Business

SCADnow seeks a full-time professor of business to teach insightful courses such as entrepreneurship, accounting, marketing, and management for remarkable students across SCAD’s many disciplines.

From advertising and creative business leadership to luxury and brand management and beyond, business plays an essential role inSCADCore, the university’s general education curriculum, and in the university’s most popular minor, business management and entrepreneurship. In this role, you will join one of the most academically diverse general education programs at any art and design university to further advanceSCADstudents’ preparation for creative careers.

SCADnow is a signature online learning platform that offers on-the-go artists, designers, and professionals the best of both worlds in distance education - real-time engagement combined with on-demand access. For maximum flexibility, SCADnow courses stream in real time and are accessible anytime, allowing students to digitally connect to award winning undergraduate and graduate degree programs according to their own distinct schedules.

The successful candidate demonstrates enthusiasm for working with an exceptional population of students from around the world and has the ability to foster a positive learning environment built on real-world knowledge and skill. Experience in design thinking is a welcome bonus.

Minimum Qualifications: • Terminal degree in the discipline or in a relevant field is preferred.
• Academic and professional credentials to teach in a certain discipline.
• Teaching experience at the collegiate level preferred.
• Experience in or knowledge of related professions.
