The Northeast Wisconsin Technical College District Board invites applications and nominations for the position of President of Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC). The President is the chief executive officer of the College and reports to the District Board. The successful candidate will be a dynamic, innovative, collaborative, and energetic leader with the vision, skills, and integrity required to guide this quality college to higher levels of achievement. The new President will assume office in spring 2023.

Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, a public two-year technical college serving nine counties and thirty-two K-12 school districts in Northeast Wisconsin, is one of 16 districts that operate within Wisconsin in a statewide plan for vocational, technical and adult education. It is governed by a nine-member Northeast Wisconsin Technical College District Board. NWTC's mission is firmly rooted in access to education, student success, and lifelong learning to meet the region's workforce needs. Offering over 200 associate degree, technical diploma, certificate, and apprenticeship programs, the College has become the area's resource for affordable excellence in higher education. NWTC is seeking an innovative, experienced, transparent, and diversity-centered leader who will support students, faculty, and staff. In addition, the new leader will serve as an advocate for the College's rural and growing underrepresented populations, including its continual commitment to Native Nations.

Minimum Qualifications

• An earned doctorate in education or related field from an accredited institution (preferred).

• Extensive higher education administrative experience (of at least five years) in positions of increasing responsibility affecting an entire institution with multiple sites.

• Experience with, and leadership of, assessment and accreditation activities (preferred).

• Demonstrated classroom teaching experience at a regionally accredited institution of higher education (preferred).
