The University of Florida (UF), the flagship university for the state of Florida, ranked No. 5 among the nation's top public universities by U.S. News and World Report , is accepting inquiries, nominations and applications for the position of University Registrar.

Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Management, the University Registrar will advance strategic priorities of the Division of Enrollment Management and the University of Florida. The Registrar will provide strategic direction and oversight of the university's registration policies and procedures. Achieving the university's goals of excellence, service, and efficiency in records and registration, the new leader will provide exceptional services for students, faculty, staff, and alumni and ensure compliance with federal, state, and other regulatory agencies. Setting the vision for a state-of-the-art and forward-thinking registrar's function, the Registrar will guide, support, and mentor a committed staff and foster a culture of inclusion, equity, transparency, open communication, teamwork, student-centeredness, and service.

While the University of Florida is the state's flagship university, it continues to rapidly transform as it pursues the overarching aspiration to be "a premier university that the state, nation, and world look to for leadership." Located in Gainesville since 1906, UF has 16 colleges, a major academic health center, a championship-winning athletic program, a top-ranked undergraduate online program and, in keeping with its land-grant mission, one of the nation's most comprehensive agriculture and natural resources programs. All are based at the University's 2,000-acre campus, joining its historic red-brick core with advanced facilities and preserved natural areas and connecting to adjacent innovation, commercial, and residential districts.

UF has 61,000 students, 30,000 employees, 6,400 faculty members, an $8 billion annual budget and more than 140 mission-focused units across the state of Florida.
