ROLE of the POSITION

The Desktop Support Analyst is responsible for providing technical support for desktop computing for all Student Life departments. The incumbent will be responsible for having a general understanding of desktop-related systems and must be able to understand and implement desktop maintenance. The Desktop Support Analyst must also have a fundamental understanding of proper procedures for troubleshooting and resolving technical problems. Some evening and weekend work required. Participation in a rotating on-call schedule required.

The mission of Student Life Technology (SLT) is to support all technology needs within the Student Life Unit and provide the best integration into all other standard systems and resources while keeping in compliance with Federal, State and University, laws, policies, and procedures. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and and 1-3 years of experience in related field. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start of employment.
