Langston University (LU) invites confidential inquiries, nominations, and applications for the Dean of the School of Business. The Dean for the Langston University School of Business is the chief academic and administrative officer for the School of Business, reporting directly to the Vice President for Academic Affairs and having extensive working relationships with the university executive leader in academics, student affairs, other related offices as well as with the business and industry leaders. The Dean will provide leadership for two department chairs, 11 full-time, and an average of five part time faculty to support the mission, vision, and strategic goals of the School and Langston University.

Langston University, a public, 1890 Land-Grant University, offers 36 degree programs, including master and doctoral degrees. The University has approximately 2,000 students. Most traditional undergraduate students are enrolled at the Langston campus located in a rural setting east of Guthrie, Oklahoma. Langston University also serves an urban mission, with campuses in Oklahoma City and Tulsa as well as a nursing program in Ardmore.

The School of Business is comprised of two undergraduate departments: the Department of Business Administration and the Department of Computer Science and a graduate program, the Master of Entrepreneurial Studies. The Department of Business Administration offers the Bachelor of Business Administration with options in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Management, Financial Economics, and Supply Chain Management. The Department of Computer and Information Sciences offers the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
