The Dean will build upon longstanding strengths in design excellence, community engagement, and sustainability and recent investments in student engagement, social justice, and cross-disciplinary practice. The Dean will provide leadership and support to enhance teaching and research within the School, collaborate with other units on campus, and further develop a diverse, cohesive, and high-performing community. The next Dean will work within the School of Architecture, the Institute, and the broader community to educate students who graduate ready to deploy exceptional technical and creative skills to address the pressing social and environmental needs of our time.
